What different leads sizes are available?

0.3mm – Is a super fine lead.

0.5mm – If you write lighter and easier. It is a more precise size lead so you can write in tiny places.

0.7mm – Is a good medium lead size.

0.9mm – If you are a heavy hander and press hard. Usually is darker as the lead size is twice as thick as regular lead.

What do the different point sizes mean?

Ballpoint pens

Fine – 0.5 – 0.8mm

Medium – 1.0-1.2mm

Bold – 1.2mm+

Rollerball

Fine – 0.5mm

Medium – 0.7mm

Gel

Fine – 0.5mm

Medium – 0.7mm

Bold – 1.0mm+

Do you have a gel pen for left handers?

Yes, the Sarasa. Our award winning Sarasa RDI is perfect for left handers. The Sarasa is a gel ink pen with our new and improved rapid dry ink. It dries in less than a second on most writing surfaces, making this new ink perfect for left handers.

How do I get my mechanical pencil to work?

If you are having issues with your mechanical pencil please see the notes below.

To expose the lead – Push the top, rubber end down, repeatedly until the lead appears at the tip.

To retract the lead – Push and hold the top rubber end and apply light pressure to the tip of the lead at the same time. This will retract the lead into the barrel.

To reload the lead – Remove eraser from the top. Drop as many leads in as you wish, maximum 12.

Are all your products suitable for children?

Not suitable for children under 36 months. Contains small parts. Zebra products comply with BS7272-2 parts 1 & 2.
